This page covers this website, which is run by Masterkey Technologies Pty Ltd (“MasterKey”, “we”), ABN 76 702 100 347, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles, and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 where it applies to you. How MasterKey handles your hotel’s own data once you are a customer is covered in your agreement with us, not here.

What we collect

Only what you send us. When you book a demo or use the contact form, that is your name, your role, your hotel, its number of rooms, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. Alongside it we record which page the form was sent from and your browser type, which helps us spot spam.

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. As with most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Why we collect it

To reply to you and to arrange the demo you asked for. We don’t sell your information, share it for anyone else’s marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask to join.

Where it goes

Your message is stored in a hosted database that only we can read, and a copy is emailed to our team so that a person sees it quickly. If you pay for a product through this site, the payment is taken by our payment provider on their own secure page, and we never see or store your card details. These providers may store information outside Australia and New Zealand.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are in conversation with you, or have a reason to stay in touch. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email conrad@heymasterkey.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or, in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, this page will change with it, and the date at the top will show when.
