These terms apply to your use of heymasterkey.com (the “site”), operated by MasterKey. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What this site is

The site describes what we are building, and lets you join a waitlist or get in touch. It is not the MasterKey product. If you become a customer, a separate written agreement will govern your use of the product, and where that agreement and this page disagree, that agreement wins.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free, and it is not a contract. It does not guarantee you access, a place in any particular order, a price, or a date. We may onboard properties in whatever order makes sense, and we may decide not to offer the product to a particular business. If you have paid us for something, that is a separate arrangement and this paragraph does not affect it.

Using the site

Please do not:

try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or anything connected to it;
scrape or harvest it automatically, beyond ordinary search engine indexing;
submit anything false, unlawful, or belonging to someone else, or impersonate another person or business;
use it to send unsolicited marketing, or in any way that breaks the law.

We can suspend access if we reasonably believe any of the above is happening.

Our content

The site’s content, design, and the MasterKey name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may read it, share links to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without asking first.

Third-party names and marks that appear on the site remain the property of their owners and are used to describe categories of software, not to claim any partnership or endorsement.

Anything you send us

If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them to improve MasterKey without owing you anything. Do not send us anything confidential through this site — use email, and tell us it is confidential.

Information on the site is general

Everything published here — including any figures, examples, articles or illustrations of what MasterKey might recommend — is general information about our product. It is not revenue-management, financial, legal or professional advice, it is not tailored to your property, and you should not act on it without your own judgement. Any numbers shown in examples are illustrative.

Availability

We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current. We may change or remove any part of it at any time. Links to other websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for what is on them.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of data arising from your use of the site.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, and forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
